Private jeep safaris with licensed naturalist trackers at Yala, Udawalawe, Wilpattu, Minneriya, Kaudulla, Hurulu, Bundala and Kumana. Morning, evening and full-day departures, timed around your itinerary.
There are two separate costs, and almost every listing you will find online shows you only the first one. We would rather you knew both before you book.
Vehicle, driver, fuel, tracker and hotel pickup. Charged per jeep, not per person — so a couple pays the same as a solo traveller. This is the price shown on each card.
Charged per person by the Department of Wildlife. It rose to US$40 at Yala, Udawalawe, Wilpattu, Minneriya and Kaudulla on 1 January 2026. We quote it in writing with your jeep price and pay it for you at the gate.
The most common complaint about safaris in Sri Lanka is being asked for entrance money at the gate after paying online. That will not happen on a booking with us — your written quote is the total.
Every safari below is private — your own jeep, your own tracker, no sharing with strangers and no fixed departure time you have to fit around.

Highest leopard density in the world. Block 1 is the section worth paying for — some operators quietly use Block 5.

The largest park in the country, arguably better leopard sightings than Yala, with a fraction of the jeeps.
Hundreds of elephants converge on the reservoir. Timing shifts with rainfall, so we confirm the week you travel.
Yala is divided into blocks, and they are not equivalent. Block 1 has by far the highest leopard density and is where our safaris run. Some operators quietly use Block 5 because permits are cheaper and queues are shorter — it is a materially different experience. It is worth asking any operator, not just us, which block they use. Block 1 also closes for roughly six weeks from September, and we will route you to Wilpattu or Kumana rather than sell you a weaker alternative.
The jeep is only part of it. These are the things that decide whether a safari is any good.
We never promise a leopard. Nobody honestly can.
Everything you need to know about our Sri Lanka safari experiences before you book.
Tell us your dates and which park interests you. We will confirm the jeep, the tracker and the exact entrance fee in writing within twelve hours.
