Safari at eight national parks
Private jeeps, licensed naturalist trackers and park entrance quoted up front rather than collected at the gate. Yala for leopards, Udawalawe for elephants, Wilpattu for having the place almost to yourself.
Eight parks

Fees quoted up front
Park entrance rose to US$40 in January 2026. We quote it in writing and pay it at the gate, so nothing is asked for on the day.
Rent a vehicle and drive it yourself
If you would rather have the keys than a driver, we rent cars, vans, bikes and tuk tuks across the island, delivered to the airport or your hotel, fully insured, with the paperwork handled properly.
Read this before you rent anything in Sri Lanka
Your home licence is not enough on its own, and neither is an International Driving Permit. Both have to be validated in Sri Lanka before you can legally drive, and if you skip it your insurance will not pay out. Most travellers only find this out at the rental counter. We sort it for you before you land.
Recognition permit
Your foreign licence must be endorsed by the AA Ceylon or the Department of Motor Traffic. Roughly LKR 5,000 to 6,000 and about a day to issue. We can start it before you arrive.
Bikes need a bike licence
A car licence does not cover a motorbike here. You need a motorcycle category on your own licence before it can be endorsed, and helmets are compulsory.
Tuk tuks are separate again
Three-wheelers need their own permit. It is straightforward, but it is a different piece of paper, and rental without it is uninsured.

Not knowing your driver
You get their name, photograph, vehicle and plate number 72 hours before you fly, and you can message them directly from that moment.
Commission stops
We do not detour to gem shops, spice gardens or government certified showrooms. Our drivers earn nothing from taking you anywhere.
Waiting at the airport
Most operators give you 45 minutes from touchdown. Immigration at Colombo can eat most of that, so we give you a full hour, free.

Sri Lanka visa and ETA in 2026
Forty nationalities now travel visa-free for 30 days, but the ETA is still compulsory. A lot of people are about to be turned away at check-in.
